Bewen Energy

Bewen Enerji A.Ş., founded as a result of the partnership between Beyçelik Holding A.Ş. and Elawan Energy S.R.L operates in the production and trade of electricity using renewable energy resources including, in particular, wind and solar energy. Bewen Enerji A.Ş. affiliates are BAK Enerji Üretimi A.Ş., SABAŞ Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. and YGT Elektrik Üretim A.Ş.

Bewen Energy aims to bring natural energy sources to the country’s economy as swiftly and efficiently as possible using the very latest technology.

Located within the borders of Milas, Muğla and Çine, Aydın, Turguttepe WPP attained a production license on 08.06.2007 thanks to Turguttepe WPP, for which a generation licence was obtained by SABAŞ ELEKTRİK ÜRETİM A.Ş. on 08.06.2007, is located within the borders of Milas District of Muğla and Çine District of Aydın. Started in 2009, the first ERO acceptance of Turguttepe WPP was made in 2010 and the entire plant was commissioned in 2011. Turguttepe WPP has an installed capacity of 24 MW with 12 Vestas V90 2 MW turbines. Turguttepe licence power has increased to 44.6 MWe with the capacity increase in 2016 and 2023.

Located within the borders of Yahyalı, Kayseri, Yahyalı WPP attained a production license on 07.09.2011 thanks to BAK ENERJİ ÜRETİMİ A.Ş. The first acceptance by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources for Yahyalı WPP whose construction started in 2016 was made in 2016 and the plant’s 82.5 MW-section was put into use in 2017. Of the 10.35 MW-capacity increase permitted in 2019, the 9 MW was put into use in 2023 upon its acceptance by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. Yahyalı WPP has an installed capacity of 91.5 MW with 25 Vestas V126 3.3 MW-turbines and two Vestas V150 4.5 MW-turbines. Plus, the plant was given permission to increase its capacity further to 20.4 MW in 2022. Procedures to incorporate the capacity of 20.4 MW into the license are on track.

Apart from the wind energy capacity increases, 71.4168 MW auxiliary source solar power plant, which will operate as a hybrid system in 2021, is entitled to be installed. A total installed capacity of 71.4168 MWm was commissioned with the acceptances of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources on 14 March 2024 with 17.4174 MWm, 16 May 2024 with 14.0855 MWm, 11 July 2024 with 18.63 MWm, 23 August 2024 with 9.9385 MWm and 28 April 2025 with 11.3425 MWm.
The license installed capacity of the Yahyalı Project is 167.4168 MWm/92.85 MWe and the commissioned capacity is 162,9168 MWm/91.5 MWe.

Located within the borders of Selçuk, İzmir and Kuşadası, Aydın, Adares WPP attained a production license on 12.05.2011 thanks to YGT Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. The first acceptance by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources for Adares WPP whose construction began in late 2014 was initiated in 2015 and the plant’s 10 MW-section was put into use the same year. The installed power of Adares WPP increased to 22 MW with a capacity increase in 2016. The capacity increase was put into use in February 2021 with three Enercon E-126 4 MW-turbines.

Adares WPP has an installed power of 22 MW with five Gamesa G97 2 MW-turbines and three Enercon E-126 4 MW-turbines. An additional capacity increase of 11 MW was performed in 2022 upon the permission to increase the capacity. Works continue to put capacity increases into use.
